Simone De Chateauneuf was born in Chateau Landon, near Paris. A descendant of French Royalty, Simone grew up in France and attended the exclusive Ecole Des Beaux Arts (Academy of Fine Art) where she earned a Master Degree in Art. As a result of her years of painting magnificent art work from the romantic period of the late 1800's, Simone has become an artist of international acclaim.
Many of Simone's paintings are created in the same locations around France that once provided the inspiration for some of the most famous impressionistic artists in history such as Renoir, Suerat and Monet over 125 years ago. Arguably the most popular style of art, Simone effortlessly creates masterpieces in the same manner as her fellow parisians.
Of additional intrigue is Simone's ability to apply the style of impressionistic art to themes that include The Old West by using pastels, pencils, pen & ink and oil paints.
